Families should not need to become forensic accountants to organize receipts, proof of payment, provider documents, and EMA claim details. The app helps keep that work together; the resource library explains the workflow in plain language.
Our editorial method
- We check current Step Up For Students handbooks, purchasing guidance, and official FAQs before publishing material claims.
- Each guide shows a last-reviewed date and links to the official sources used.
- Examples and screenshots are anonymized; no child names, account numbers, addresses, or identifying family details are published.
- When rules change, we update the guide and record the material change.
Article review label
Our guides are labeled: “Prepared by Sunshine Claim Buddy; reviewed by its founder, a Florida FES-UA parent.” This identifies the experience behind the content without exposing private family information.
